It really does all start with an idea. Our idea for Nantahala Ridge Campground grew, taking on life, purpose, and meaning as we worked to make it a reality. Our project quickly became a passion and obsession that was all-consuming. Our dedication inspired others to believe in our idea too.

Idea to Reality

When our dream became a reality, we knew it had to be shared.

 

It’s the child who has uncontained excitement and wonder that craves the attention of those nearby to share in the moment. It’s the artist who creates something from within that must be expressed.


It’s also the person who has the vision, the drive, and the conviction to build on that idea. It's the person who can take their passion and turn it into something solid.


Nantahala Ridge Campground is just such an idea.

Our vision

Required us to see past the ramshackle cabin and the neglected ranch house to discover their charm and potential. The lonely structures were surrounded by acres and acres of the incredible beauty of trees, flowers, birds, wildlife and untouched natural land…a palette of color waiting for the right artist to take up a brush.


This land and all it has to offer needed to be shared. Our passion led us here. Our Vision, drive and conviction saw it through. Enthusiasm, wonder and excitement helped us realized a dream. We found the idea compelling enough to follow it and want to share. Won’t you come and see?
